Rules & Regulations for admission

  1. The age of the child at the time of admission to the Madrassa should be 5 years. Underage children will not be admitted until they reach his/her 5th Please attach a copy of a birth certificate with the admission form. Enrolment commences from 1st of July to 31st of August of each year. Admission forms can be obtained from the Teacher.
  1. A one-off registration fee is £15.00. Monthly fees will be £20.00, payable to the teacher in the first week of every month.
  1. The cost of all books studied by the children at the Madarassa shall be payable by the parent/guardian.
  1. The Secretary for education is the only one to approve the admission of the child. Teachers are not authorized to let any child, not registered with madrassa, to attend the class.
  1. Timing of the classes will be from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
  1. Maximum 4 weeks holidays can be granted under extreme circumstances in a whole year. Fees must be payable for that duration.
  1. Any child absent from the mosque for more then 2 weeks without notification will be suspended and then excluded from the Madrassa if absent for a further 2 weeks. Re-admission will only be granted after a payment of a £20 penalty along with missing period’s monthly fee.
  1. Any queries or problem relating to the discipline of a class, disrespect to the teachers, fight/argument among children should be directed to the committee of the mosque. A warning letter will be issued and parents will be called in to the madrassa to sort out the problem. The child will be suspended if parents do not turn up. Any student found guilty of showing disrespect towards teaching staff or contravening with Madrassa rules and regulations will be excluded with immediate effect.
  1. Cleanliness of one’s body, clothing, socks especially and classroom is obligatory. Boys must be wearing a cap on their heads. Hairstyles must be in keeping with Islamic Traditions. Wearing sports t-shirts with a logo, pictures or images on are strongly prohibited. It is mandatory for Girls to wear Islamic clothing i.e., Jalbab & Scarf. Otherwise, they will be excluded from the class.
  1. Bringing any audio equipment, magazines, chewing gums, sweets or mobile phones is strictly forbidden. Playing of games, a musical tune etc is strictly prohibited. Such Equipment will be confiscated by the teacher.

 

Strict compliance with above rules and regulations is mandatory at all times and under all circumstances.
